Pepper is a Disruptor-class Heavy Bowgun Adventurer. Flight is just another firing angle. The best starting point is a Heavy Bowgun built around the role, with a Arkaya alongside.
Who they are
Pepper overview
Pepper takes the Heavy Bowgun and gives it a movement gimmick. Her kit can launch her into the air for rapid fire and includes an Ultimate that disrupts a monster mid-attack. In a squad, she is the player who changes the tempo from a completely unexpected angle.
Aerial play is not invincibility. Being above the monster can also mean being out of your teammates' healing range or unable to dodge certain projectiles. Use the height to create a better firing line, then come down and reset.

Kit breakdown
Pepper abilities & playstyle
Aerial rapid fire
Launch into the air and rain shots down on exposed parts. Use it to avoid a ground sweep and maintain uptime on wings or backs.
Interrupting Ultimate
Her Ultimate can disrupt a monster mid-attack. Save it for a dangerous sequence or a phase transition where the squad needs breathing room.
Disruptor pressure
As a Disruptor, Pepper's job is to weaken and interrupt. She is not just a damage turret; her timing can cancel the attack that would have carted someone.

How to play Pepper
Positioning
Use height to change your angle, not to hide permanently. Land near cover and re-establish a diagonal firing line.
Strengths
High mobility for a Heavy Bowgun user, strong disruption tools and good access to tall weak points.
Weaknesses
Aerial recovery can leave her exposed, and her kit asks for more setup than a standard Bow.
Squad planning
Best team role & partners
Pepper's primary value is aerial disruption and ranged part pressure. Pair them with Adventurers who cover the opposite job: a Support if they are an Assault, or a burst damage dealer if they are holding the monster in place.

Weapon pairing
Best weapons for Pepper
Start with the Heavy Bowgun guide. The Heavy Bowgun is a strong pick if you like planning ammunition and controlling the angle of a fight. It is less forgiving than the Bow for players who want constant movement.
- Paolumu tree
- Legiana tree
- Nergigante tree
Weapon rule
Pepper is built around the Heavy Bowgun. Swapping trees changes the element and raw profile, but it will not change the Adventurer's core kit.
