Luxheart is a Disruptor-class Great Sword Adventurer. Set the stage. Light the sky. The best starting point is a Great Sword built around the role, with Rhodes alongside.
Who they are
Luxheart overview
Luxheart makes the Great Sword look like a stage prop. His ever-changing blade uses Heat to switch between attack stances, and certain moves release the accumulated energy as a firework-like barrage. It is a more technical Great Sword than Pyro's straightforward burst loop.
His real niche is Daze. Game8 highlights the Dazzling Display Insight, which increases damage against dazed monsters, and notes that his Squadmate Skill and Ultimate are reliable Daze sources. A squad built around that window can turn Luxheart's disruption into a team-wide damage multiplier.

Kit breakdown
Luxheart abilities & playstyle
Heat stance switching
Heat changes which stance and attack route are available. Learn the two or three transitions you need rather than trying to memorize every branch at once.
Firework barrage
Stored energy can be released in a spectacular multi-hit sequence. Save it for a downed monster or a phase where the squad is ready to convert the Daze.
Daze setup
His Squadmate Skill and Ultimate apply Daze. Coordinate with a Dazzling Display build or a heavy burst teammate so the stun window is not spent on repositioning.

How to play Luxheart
Positioning
Start at the shoulder, not the head. Luxheart needs a moment to set his stance; once the monster is committed, step in and release the stored barrage.
Strengths
Reliable Daze access, strong Thunder coverage and a high-impact burst animation that rewards setup. He is a good fit for teams that call out stun windows.
Weaknesses
His personal damage is lower than the top Great Swords, and the stance loop is punishing if you rush it. Without a team that uses Daze, his best tool loses value.
Squad planning
Best team role & partners
Luxheart's primary value is daze enabler, thunder part-breaker and burst support. Pair them with Adventurers who cover the opposite job: a Support if they are an Assault, or a burst damage dealer if they are holding the monster in place.

Weapon pairing
Best weapons for Luxheart
Start with the Great Sword guide. Pick the Great Sword if you enjoy deliberate, heavy hits and do not mind learning the monster instead of the combo. It is a superb part-break weapon and Pyro gives it an aggressive, pain-to-power identity.
- Thunder Great Sword tree
- Raw high-damage Great Sword
- Ice Great Sword tree
Weapon rule
Luxheart is built around the Great Sword. Swapping trees changes the element and raw profile, but it will not change the Adventurer's core kit.
